Helene "OPAHL" Kjerstad is a songwriter and producer from Norway, based in Stockholm and Los Angeles. With a musical upbringing and Grammy-award winning mentors like Stargate, Autumn Rowe and Sarah Hudson, OPAHL developed a sharp instinct for catchy hooks and attention-grabbing concepts. With a passion for creating an unapologetic atmosphere in the studio, OPAHL brings a distinct signature sound and feel to any track.

OPAHL's works have garnered attention from Norwegian and international press (NRK P3, Ballade, disharmoni, Gaffa, Musikknyheter, 730.no, NATT&DAG, Scandipop). Songwriter/producer highlights include a top 40 hit in Thailand, Musikkprisen 2020, several NRK Urørt recommendations, multiple Spotify editorial playlists, international radio listings, and a sync placement in US short film DL Guy. Moreover, OPAHL has been rewarded with music stipends from The Norwegian Composers’ fund (2025) and Music Norway (2021). In 2025, OPAHL is a participant in Moment Talent.
